Job Description

Seeking an AI Software Developer skilled in Generative AI, PySpark and Databricks to build and productionize AI and Analytics solutions.

Duration: 6 months to start - possibility of extension

Work: % remote (preference is for candidates in Calgary but as long as you are willing to work MST hours that if okay).

Must Have Skills

  • Previous experience as a software developer on AI and analytics solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in Databricks and PySpark building scalable data pipelines and transformations
  • Hands-on experience with Generative AI, OpenAI APIs, RAG, and vector search/embeddings
  • Familiarity with computer vision techniques for document understanding
  • Experience with Azure data and AI services (e.g., Azure Document Intelligence)
  • Proficiency in SQL and Delta Lake/lakehouse architectures
