AI Language Model Specialist

📍 Bangalore | 4–6 Years Experience

We are hiring a hands-on Senior Data Scientist / Researcher to lead end-to-end training and improvement of open-source LLMs, with a strong focus on Indian languages and production reliability.

This role goes beyond prompt engineering. You will own the full lifecycle — data curation, continued pretraining, supervised fine-tuning (SFT), preference optimization (DPO/IPO/ORPO), evaluation, optimization, and deployment readiness.

What You’ll Work On

• Improving multilingual & Indic language performance (including code-switching like Hinglish)
• Strengthening instruction-following and alignment
• Building reliable tool/function calling with structured JSON outputs
• Designing evaluation frameworks for quality, safety, and regression testing
• Optimizing models for latency and throughput using quantization and serving stacks like vLLM and TensorRT-LLM
