AI Governance Specialist

About the Role

The Santander Artificial Intelligence Team seeks an AI Governance Specialist to design, implement, and continuously evolve the Group-wide AI Governance framework, ensuring responsible deployment of AI use cases, risk assessments, governance bodies, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and evolve the Group-wide AI Governance model.
  • Coordinate and manage AI governance bodies, including agendas, materials, decisions and follow‑up actions.
  • Maintain a global inventory of AI use cases, ensuring completeness, traceability and lifecycle accuracy.
  • Define and coordinate AI use‑case risk assessments covering ethical, legal, operational, reputational, data, model and cyber risks.
