Job Description
We're building an AI-powered order processing system for a high-volume cannabis delivery operation (~100+ orders/day)
This is not a chatbot project.
This is operational automation:
Multi-channel order intake (SMS, email, Weedmaps, Leafly, website)
Customer classification (new vs existing)
Compliance data collection (human-in-the-loop)
Inventory + deal logic
Substitution workflows
POS integration (Indica Online API if possible)
Human escalation when needed
Admin dashboard
Gradual rollout with shadow mode + kill switch
Goal: Replace ~70–90% of manual order handling currently done by a 12-person offshore team.
We are looking for a senior automation engineer / architect who understands:
Production systems
API integrations
Workflow orchestration
Human-in-the-loop automation
Reliability under real-world conditions
This system touches revenue directly. Clean engineering matters.
