Job Purpose

To take responsibility for statutory compliances with respect to environment sustainability involving compliances of MOEF, PCB and CGWB including obtaining government clearances as well as reclamation and rehabilitation.

Job Context:
Hindalco Industries Limited has 5 bauxite mines across the Netarhat cluster in Jharkhand namely Gurdari Mines, Amtipani Mines, Amtipani Chirodih Mines and Kujam (I & II). The mines in the Netarhat cluster cater to alumina refineries at Renukoot with the bauxite dispatched through the railway siding at Tori. Once mining plan is finalised in collaboration with the Geological department and approved by the Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM), mining operation is undertaken at the mines primarily through contractual manpower.
