Job Title

Security Specialist (NIGHT 6pm to 6 am shift) with weekend in rotation

Overview

A Security Specialist will report to the Security Supervisor and assist in the development and implementation of security procedures, and be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of security systems in accordance with Health Canada guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Security Manager and Security Supervisor in the development and implementation of security procedures to meet Health Canada regulations.
• Conduct periodic systems testing and inspections in collaboration with the Facilities team.
• Operate, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot security systems, including cameras and digital locks.
• Liaise with external suppliers for system maintenance, upgrades and/or installations.
• Investigate, respond to and report on all security breaches and alarms.
