Job Description

  • This position is in-home care setting, not in residential facilities.

    Job responsibilities:

    • Assisting with daily care for clients at their home including showering, changing clothes, brushing their teeth, etc.
    • Transporting and accompanying clients when required.
    • Performing housekeeping including domestic cleaning, laundry, food preparation, shopping.
    • Social support to improve clients’ wellbeing and independence.
    • Perform administrative duties such as always clocking in/out after each shift, making incident reports, and entering shift notes on the rostering app.

    To apply for the role, ideally you have the following:

    • Confident and calm manner.
    • Experienced in challenging behaviour management.
    • Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely and to adapt communication skills to each client you work with.
    • Current National Police Check.
    • Certificate Level III...
