Job Description

This part-time ongoing role provides after-hours care and support to young people across Junction’s Residential Care sites in Moe, Traralgon, and Warragul. As an After-Hours Night Support (AHNS) Worker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of young people during the night by providing emergency responses, crisis intervention, and transport when required. You’ll collaborate with Residential Care Youth Workers to manage high-risk situations, conduct risk assessments, and implement crisis support plans in line with Junction’s overnight safety framework. The role also includes completing residential shifts as needed, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring consistent, high-quality care across all sites. This is a 52.5-hour-per-fortnight position, paid under the SCHADS Award Level 2 (pay point 2–4) with access to not-for-profit salary packaging.
