Advocacy and Development and Outreach Department Intern

Human Rights Watch (HRW) is seeking two interns for the Sydney office. Ideally, interns will be available for a minimum of two days and maximum of three days a week, for three months beginning in mid August 2024 through October 2024 (dates and schedule are flexible) with the possibility to extend.

Interns will be offered a range of tasks that cover elements of the work carried out by both the Advocacy and Development and Outreach Departments. Interns will focus on projects surrounding domestic and international issues of Australia. Throughout the internship term, interns are offered the opportunity to participate in the collegial atmosphere of all aspects of daily Sydney Human Rights Watch office activities.
