Advisor, Risk Reduction

We're looking for a thoughtful and proactive Advisor to join our Risk Reduction team. This is a great opportunity to contribute to meaningful work that supports Aotearoa New Zealand’s resilience to natural hazard risks.

In this role, you’ll apply your knowledge of natural hazard risk management science, policy, or research to deliver and support initiatives across our risk reduction programme. You’ll work collaboratively with researchers, engineers, government stakeholders, and practitioners to strengthen the resilience of the built environment and help translate data and evidence into tools and resources that drive action.

You’ll also support the implementation of the organisation’s Resilience Strategy, contribute to our research investment direction, and provide internal advice and subject matter expertise on natural hazard risks and risk reduction.
