Position Summary:
Under the general direction of the Director Labour Relations, the Labour Relations Advisor is responsible for providing guidance, direction and support to the Human Resources and Operations teams on matters relating to labour relations and best practices, including but not limited to grievance management/tracking, interpretation of collective agreements and general best practices. This position will also be responsible for general administration relating to labour relations matters and will ensure adherence to the Company’s policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian’s learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members and management. This position will be based out of Pickering Casino Resort.
