Advanced Practitioner AP2

Due to expansion of our clinical teams, we are now looking for an experienced nurse, paramedic or other health care practitioner to act as a senior clinical professional within the Mereside Duty Team. Acting within your professional boundaries, you will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. You will demonstrate safe, clinical decision‑making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients presenting on the day with undifferentiated presentations and urgent care needs, and supporting patients with long‑term conditions.

By its nature this is a varied role, whose priorities of the day can vary tremendously. You should be enthusiastic, adaptable, and solutions‑minded, with a strong natural aptitude for technology.
