Job Summary

The post holder is an experienced Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner who will work as a member of the Practice Clinical Team. The post holder will have completed or be working towards an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or a degree‑level qualification with relevant experience and RCN credentials. The post holder will be supported by a named practice mentor.

Responsibilities

Communication

  • Communicates effectively as a member of the practice clinical team.
  • Refers patients to appropriate external services (A&E, secondary care, district nurses, social workers, mental health team, emergency services).
  • Provides support, advice, and mentoring to other Nurse Practitioners and medical staff.
  • Communicates with reception staff regarding patient information.
