About the Role:

The Advanced Data Engineer is a key technical contributor who designs and scales governance-aware data pipelines, drives data quality automation, and influences how domains adopt standards. You will architect reusable components, optimize BigQuery workloads, and lead the rollout of data quality and metadata frameworks across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and build scalable, reliable data pipelines and governance frameworks in GCP.
• Design optimized BigQuery schemas, partitioning strategies, and performance-tuned SQL.
• Implement automated data quality checks, profiling, and validation workflows at scale.
• Build Python-based automation for metadata extraction, rule execution, and lineage.
• Drive integration with governance tooling (e.g., Alation, Monte Carlo).
