Job responsibilities
The post holder will work in their specialty setting at Mersey and West Lancashire NHS Trust. The role involves advanced clinical assessment and treatment of spinal cord injured patients with complex presentations within the specialist field of clinical practice. The post holder is expected to: read and provide highly specialist weaning and ventilatory advice for patients admitted with SCI; work closely with the respiratory and multi‑disciplinary teams, including community‑based teams, liaising with spinal medical consultants and case management; develop and enhance evidence‑based respiratory practice and ventilatory care; lead clinical education and training; identify appropriate rehabilitation or care pathways; promote a cli...
