Your Opportunity:

Reporting to the Health Information Management Supervisor, the Registration, Switchboard, & Patient Information (RSPI) Clerk is responsible for Patient Registration, Switchboard, Finance, and Health Record functions. The RSPI Clerk maintains the integrity of the health record through retrieving, preparing, scanning paper records to the Electronic Clinical Information System and auditing scanned records. The position responds to telephone requests for access and disclosure in accordance with department, zone and legislative requirements.Interviewing and Registration of patients utilizing health care information system (Connect Care) to include the collection/verification of patient's demographic information as well as validating insurance, financial information, and other necessary forms.
