Overview

The Administrative Assistant – Protective Services is responsible for providing day-to-day office administrative functions and support for the Protective Services Department, including Community Safety, Bylaw and Emergency Operations, with completion of activities and projects to support the mandate of the Department.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to front counter, telephone and e-mail inquiries, complaints and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Log and track service requests received from the public.
  • Respond to information requests from the public and internal staff.
  • Review and respond to shared inboxes and calendar requests

2. Provide administrative support to the Protective Services Department including but not limited to:

  • Prepare correspondence and reports.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and packages, create PowerPoint presentations and take meeting minutes. ...
