Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to bookkeepers and accountants by organizing files, managing schedules, and handling correspondence.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain financial records, invoices, and client documents.
  • Assist in data entry for financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and client consultations.
  • Handle phone calls and emails, responding to inquiries or directing them to the appropriate team member.
  • Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed.
  • Assist in preparing reports, spreadsheets, and other financial documents.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or coursework in business or accounting is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in a bookkeeping or accounting setting.
