Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to bookkeepers and accountants by organizing files, managing schedules, and handling correspondence.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain financial records, invoices, and client documents.
- Assist in data entry for financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and client consultations.
- Handle phone calls and emails, responding to inquiries or directing them to the appropriate team member.
- Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed.
- Assist in preparing reports, spreadsheets, and other financial documents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or coursework in business or accounting is a plus.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in a bookkeeping or accounting setting.
