GENERAL PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION:
Adjunct Faculty are hired each semester on an as-needed basis. Adjunct Faculty are responsible for creating a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals; and for providing effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi provided.

Through mentorship, clinical expertise, and student-centered instruction, the faculty member fosters professional growth, critical thinking, ethical practice, and a commitment to lifelong learning. Faculty serve as role models who help students develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to provide high-quality respiratory care and positively impact the communities they serve.
