About the Role


MRU Camps is looking for enthusiastic individuals who are interested in sharing their knowledge, passion, and expertise of adapted programming with children and youth with disabilities. Under the supervision of the Sports & Outdoor Education (SOE) Supervisor, the Instructor is responsible for delivering lessons and leading campers through a variety of activities such as crafts, sports, and games. Additional responsibilities include the completion of required administrative duties and maintaining smooth, cooperative, and professional relations with staff, campers, and parents. Camp Instructors will also work closely with Camp Leaders and Volunteers. 

This is a casual position ending July 31, 2026. The hours of work are between 7:00am – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. Camp Instructors must be available for the full 2 weeks of employment (July 20-24 and July 27-31, 2026) and orientation week (June 22-26, 2026).
