Job Description

Hours: 24 per week
Shift Pattern: 8:00am - 4:00pm, 3 shifts a week, every other weekend. 

The Activities Coordinator plays a central role in creating a meaningful, stimulating, and person‑centred daily life for residents living with dementia. The core purpose of the role is to design and deliver an engaging activity programme that supports residents’ cognitive abilities, emotional wellbeing, social connection, and sense of purpose.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain activity plannes - designing a balanced schedule of group and one‑to‑one activities tailored to residents’ abilities, interests, and care plans.
  • Plan, organise, and lead daily activities 
  • Adapt activities for varying stages of dementia, ensuring accessibility, safety, and meaningful engagement for all residents.
