Hours: 16 hours per week – Alternate Weekends

Location: St Peters Care Home, Bury St Edmunds, IP33 3RJ

We are looking for an Activities Assistant to join our Care Home team.

The Activities Coordinator is responsible for delivering a programme designed to promote social interaction and independence for our residents. Through careful assessment of each resident’s individual needs and abilities, the Coordinator will design and lead group and one-to-one activities that enhance the quality of life for each resident.

Responsibilities of the Activities Assistant:

• Thoughtfully devise/arrange appropriate activities and entertainment/speakers within set budget.
• Co-ordinate birthday and special celebrations for all residents.
