Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a construction-focused team in California in a Contract to permanent capacity. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys maintaining accuracy in a high-volume environment, managing competing deadlines, and supporting efficient payment operations. The ideal candidate brings solid accounts payable experience, strong organizational skills, and a detail-oriented, team-oriented approach to daily work.

Responsibilities:
• Manage a large monthly invoice workload, ensuring entries are coded correctly and processed with a high level of accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate weekly payment activity, including check runs, employee reimbursement requests, and other approved disbursements.
• Maintain records for preliminary notices received from subcontractors, suppliers, and other project-related partners.
