Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a real estate and property organization in El Segundo, California on a Contract basis. This position supports daily payment operations by handling financial documents, preparing disbursements, and maintaining accurate transaction records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with high-volume accounts payable activities in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities:
• Review and enter check requests with accuracy, ensuring payment details are recorded correctly in the designated system.
• Prepare and process check payments, including generating checks and organizing them for timely distribution.
• Coordinate outgoing payments by assembling mail-ready check packages and confirming proper delivery preparation.
