Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in California for a contract position. In this role, you will help ensure vendor payments are handled accurately, on schedule, and in line with established financial controls. This opportunity is well suited for a finance specialist with strong attention to detail who can manage transactional work efficiently while collaborating with internal partners across accounting and cash management.

Responsibilities:
• Examine incoming supplier invoices to confirm accuracy, required support, coding, and proper authorization before processing
• Prepare payment requests and route them through established approval channels while following internal control standards
• Process disbursements through ERP and banking platforms, including electronic payments, wires, and checks, with careful attention to timing and accuracy
