Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Mount Jackson, Virginia. This position supports day-to-day payables operations by ensuring invoices are reviewed, recorded, and paid accurately while maintaining strong vendor communication. The ideal candidate brings solid attention to detail, sound organizational skills, and the ability to manage deadlines in a busy accounting environment.

Responsibilities:
• Process incoming vendor invoices each day, confirming completeness and entering payment data accurately into the accounting system.
• Assign expenses to the correct general ledger accounts to support accurate financial reporting and cost tracking.
• Compare invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation, then coordinate with purchasing, supply, or warehouse teams to resolve any differences.
