Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a real estate and property organization in Houston, Texas on a contract basis with the potential for a permanent position. This position supports day-to-day payables operations by reviewing invoice details, maintaining accurate financial records, and helping ensure timely payments to vendors. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in accounts payable and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that values accuracy, organization, and follow-through.

Responsibilities:
• Review incoming invoices for completeness, assign the appropriate coding, and enter payment details accurately into the accounting system.
• Process vendor invoices in a timely manner while verifying supporting documentation and resolving discrepancies before payment is issued.
