REPORTS TO:           Manager of Accounting LOCATION:                Initial Placement – Burford Customer Service Office Minimum Qualifications: Two-year college diploma in Finance/Accounting or equivalent combination of applicable education and relevant work experience Two years of relevant work experience in an accounting/financial field, preferably in a municipal environment or related public sector work environment Thorough working knowledge of computerized financial programs, particularly accounts payable Solid understanding of accounting concepts, with working knowledge of the accounts payable process Ability to analyze GL account details and determine necessary journal entries when and if required Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office products with a strong emphasis on Excel and Word Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and to exer...
