Our client is a well-established company expanding and looking to bring an organised, detail-focused finance professional into their small, friendly team.
We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused AAT Part Qualified or experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance function. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of day-to-day accounting tasks while working closely with the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing and posting journals (accruals, prepayments, depreciation)
- Assisting with month-end and year-end close
- Preparing VAT returns (UK)
- Maintaining accurate accounting records
- Supporting management reporting and ad‑hoc finance tasks
- Liaising with external accountants where required
