Accounting Supervisor-Mexico

Responsibilities

• Assist the financial setup of a new plant by mapping electronic Purchase Request categories to general ledger accounts and collaborating with the SAP implementation team to create effective business processes.
• Establish and monitor compliance with internal accounting controls to ensure the integrity of financial transactions, oversee the accounts payable cycle, and enforce payment verification processes.
• Prepare payroll-related accounting vouchers that comply with Mexican labor and tax laws, ensuring accurate classifications and accruals.
• Responsible for the accurate and timely filing of monthly tax returns, including VAT and Income Tax, while ensuring proper classification of non-deductible expenses per Mexican tax...
