Job Description
The General Ledger Supervisor will oversee the general accounting and financial reporting functions to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant recording of all financial transactions. This role plays a key part in maintaining the integrity of financial data and supporting management in strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the General Ledger (GL) accounting team and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and analyses in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
- Collaborate with management to gather, analyze, and present financial data for decision-making.
- Monitor costs, revenues, and budgets to identify areas for financial improvement.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to internal controls.
- Conduct financial forecasting and variance analysis.
