Accounting Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Specialist to join our finance team.

This role is primarily responsible for encoding sales and expense data with accuracy and timeliness, and supporting the Accounting Manager in analyzing and interpreting financial information to aid in decision-making and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately encode daily, weekly, and monthly sales and expense data into accounting systems or spreadsheets.
• Ensure proper classification of financial entries according to the company’s chart of accounts.
• Review source documents (e.g., receipts, invoices, sales reports) for completeness and accuracy.
• Assist in reconciling discrepancies in financial data and correcting errors as needed.
