Description We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to support day-to-day payables and receivables operations for a Contract position based in Denver, Colorado. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working on site, enjoys balancing multiple priorities, and can maintain accuracy in a fast-moving accounting environment. The selected candidate will handle transaction processing, account review, and payment coordination while helping keep financial records organized and up to date.
Responsibilities:
• Process incoming funds each day and apply payments accurately across bank activity, credit cards, wire transfers, and checks.
• Post retainer, settlement, and other client-related transactions to the appropriate trust or customer accounts with close attention to detail.
• Review account activity, resolve payment discrepancies, and support follow-up efforts on overdue balances when needed.
