Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day financial operations for a wholesale distribution organization in Santa Fe Springs, California. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is comfortable handling high-volume transactional work, maintaining accurate records, and supporting both receivables and payables activities. The role will begin with a focus on applying incoming payments and will later shift toward invoice processing and general ledger coding, requiring strong attention to detail and consistency in data entry.

Responsibilities:
• Record and post customer payments accurately to the appropriate accounts receivable records.
• Review remittance details and match incoming funds to open balances to keep account activity current.
