Job Description
The Accounting Assistant provides support in performing general accounting work. He/She assists the SC-Accounting Specialist in monitoring and recording all financial transactions and inventory related transactions in the daily operations of the Supply Center.
Responsibilities
- Prepare check disbursement vouchers and journal vouchers for inventory‑trade transactions from time to time.
- Prepare purchase orders monthly based on the mother purchase summary.
- Monitor SC products' selling prices versus cost and give recommendations if there's a need for revision in selling prices.
- Encode inventory purchases in the accounting system.
- Ensure the accuracy of inventory records in QuickBooks by monitoring them from time to time.
- Provide daily reporting of reorder alerts to inform all concerned employees.
- Do other tasks assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
