Job Description

The Accounting Assistant is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and appropriately classifying financial information.


This role requires adherence to generally accepted accounting principles, internal controls, and service level agreements.


The Accounting Assistant will also implement efficient workflows and best practices.


Duties and Responsibilities: General bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining manual books of accounts (cash disbursement journal, general ledger, cash receipt journal, sales journal, cash disbursement journal, purchase journal) Processing accounts payables, cash advances, liquidations, disbursements, and other general ledger functions as assigned Ensuring monthly and quarterly bank reconciliation, reconciliation of accounts, and compliance activities are completed accurately and on time.
