Accounting and Finance Officer

We are seeking an Accounting and Finance Officer to join our Internal Accounting and Finance team. The ideal candidate will deliver accounting support services through the preparation, analysis, and maintenance of daily, weekly, and monthly account reconciliations.

What You’ll Do

• Identify and report issues arising from regular reconciliations and tasks.
• Review accounts payable and expense claim submissions for reasonableness while analyzing inputs and validating against Affinity procedure, providing feedback, guidance and support.
• Maintain internal systems, including developing and documenting procedures and retaining payment history.
• Prepare journal entries and validate reasonableness of entries prepared by others before processing.
• Proactively engage with vendors regarding issues, process improvements, EFT validations and setup to ensure excise tax requirements are met.
