Job Summary:

The Accounts/Finance Assistant will provide essential support to the finance department by managing day-to-day accounting and finance operations, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with financial reporting in accordance with institutional policies and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle data entry of financial transactions into accounting systems.
  • Assist in preparing invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts for student fees and vendor transactions.
  • Maintain and update accounts receivable and accounts payable records.
  • Perform bank reconciliation and assist with monthly financial closing activities.
  • Ensure proper filing and documentation of all financial records.
  • Assist with preparation of financial reports and statements for internal and external use.
