Required Skills & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–5 years of accounting experience (based on role level)
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping & accounting principles
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, etc.)
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations
- Prepare and review financial statements & reports
- Handle accounts payable/receivable
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing
- Support tax filings (HST/GST, T2/T1, payroll, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards
