Accountant/Bookkeeper

Role Overview

An exciting opportunity exists for a detail-oriented and driven Accountant / Bookkeeper to join a dynamic and growing business. This role plays a key part in supporting the financial health of the organisation, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and smooth day-to-day financial operations.

Working closely with senior finance leadership, you will be responsible for managing full accounting functions, maintaining financial records, and supporting audits and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full bookkeeping function up to trial balance
• Oversee debtors and creditors (processing, reconciliations, and queries)
• Perform bank reconciliations, journals, and cashbook management
• Ensure accurate and timely SARS submissions and compliance (VAT, PAYE, etc.)
• Assist with annual financial statements (AFS) preparation
