Job Description

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia is representing a leading Malaysian company in the engineering and industrial sector. We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Accountant to manage full-spectrum accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting. The role will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, handle statutory reporting, coordinate with auditors and tax authorities, and contribute to financial integrity and operational efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full set of accounts (GL, AP, AR, fixed assets)
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS)
  • Handle taxation matters, including SST submissions and liaising with LHDN
