We are currently seeking a Band 5 Accountant to join local council for an 8-month contract until November 2026, with possibility to extend:

• $65-75ph + super
• Located Brisbane CBD
• Hyrbid work arrangement

Key obligations include:

• Financial Service Delivery: Execute high-quality financial services, including budgeting, forecasting, and asset accounting, to support business planning and reporting.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure all activities strictly adhere to guidelines, legislative requirements, and professional accounting and auditing standards.
• Research & Strategic Analysis: Conduct research on commercial and accounting matters to provide data-driven recommendations and solutions for business partners.
