Accountant

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Accounting/Finance with at least 5 years relevant experience
• Experience in audit, accounting or financial analysis, preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Proficient in MYOB and MS Excel
• Strong attention to details and good analytical skills
• Self-motivated and proactive in problem-solving, ability to work under tight deadlines
• Willing to travel at least one week monthly to a Asia location

Job responsibilities

• Prepare/Review full set of accounts for a group of companies and ensure all transactions are recorded properly in accordance with accounting standards and regulations
• Perform timely and accurate month-end closing and reconciliations, and ensure accounting schedules are updated accordingly
• Plan monthly cash flow / budget, prepare/review payments/receipts and ensure cash books are updated timely and accurately
