Job title: Accountant (12 Months Contract)

Work Location: Durban Plant

Purpose of the Role:

An accountant is responsible for managing, analyzing, and reporting financial information and ensuring compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and maintaining financial records
• Managing accounts payable (local and foreign)
• Manage internal control assessment and annual statutory audits
• Perform cost analysis in terms of expenses and variances on standard cost of sales
• Fixed Asset management
• Compiling and processing journals
• Driving initiatives on cost improvement focusing on VPS way of working
• Loading MPR (Manual payment request) on the applicable tool
• Provide timely and accurate business information to support monthly and periodic closings for the Plantand Fitment Center.
