Description We are looking for an Accountant to join a growing organization in Houston, Texas on a Contract basis. This opportunity is well suited for an early-career accounting candidate who wants to strengthen core accounting skills in a collaborative environment. The role will contribute to daily financial operations, support close activities, and help maintain accurate reporting across the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Record recurring and non-routine journal entries accurately and in a timely manner with support from senior accounting team members.
• Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations, investigate variances, and help clear outstanding items.
• Contribute to month-end and year-end close by preparing schedules, reconciling balances, and organizing backup documentation.
