Our client in the financial services sector is seeking a highly experienced Accountant – Expert to join their Finance Controllership team within the Line of Business responsible for the integrity of financial reporting. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned finance professional who thrives in high-volume, detail-oriented environments and enjoys driving process improvement.
The Accountant – Expert will play a critical role in supporting excess work demands, with a strong focus on loan accounting review, financial analysis, and investigative accounting. Working closely with senior leadership, this role reports into the Finance Controllership function and partners with stakeholders across Canadian Commercial and Corporate Banking units.
This is a 6-month contract with a high possibility of extension and a potential opportunity for conversion, depending on performance and business needs.
Work Model: Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite (Monday, Tuesday, plus one floating day)
