Accountant

We are seeking an Accountant to join our team. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Accountant will provide support to the Corporate Accountant and Management, and will provide a variety of accounting and reporting activities, including but not limited to:

• Maintain and update accounting files, records, entries

• Reconcile bank statements

• Analyze transactions for internal and external stakeholders

• Month end and year end activities

• Preparation of financial statements, Reports, T4s, Taxes

• Time sheet verification, Payroll, HR, Benefits

• Other related duties as required

• Post Secondary Degree

• Accounting professional designation

• Strong attention to detail

• Strong organizational and prioritization skills

• Excellent communications skills

• Knowledge of Sage 50
