Job Description

Professional Staffing has partnered with an organization servicing the Oil & Gas, and Mining Industry in Central Edmonton for a newly created Full cycle Accountant position.

Reporting to the Controller, the Accountant will be for full cycle accounting including month end close. This position is 5 days a week on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Full cycle accounting - including Accounts Payable, Receivable, Invoicing, Journal Entries, Payroll
  • Job Costing and Progress Billing
  • Bank Reconciliations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 2+ years in the Manufacturing, Construction, O&G or Engineering field
  • 1+ years of Progress Billing and job costing
  • 3+ years of full-cycle accounting
  • Experience with Accounting Systems such as Sage 300, QuickBooks, or JD Edwards
