Job purpose

TheAccountantassumes a pivotal role within our accounting department, taking on increased responsibilities in financial accounting and reporting processes. With a focus on optimizingefficiency and accuracy, this position contributes to the development and implementation of accounting strategies and initiatives to support the company's growth trajectory.

Duties and responsibilities

• Coordinate with Accounts Payable clerk, including verifying accuracy of vendor invoices and employee expenses.

• Prepare and file sales tax and GST return for Canada.

• Prepare biweekly cash flow reports to monitor cash on hand, assist in the projection of cash inflows and outflows and propose transfers to address cash demands.

• Assist Accounts Receivable activities, including client onboarding, reviewing of contracts and client invoicing, and managing outstanding balances.
