Accountant

The Staff Accountant has responsibility for financial accounting activities including, but not limited to, month-end closing, cash, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Responsible for the completion of daily, monthly and annual accounting activities as assigned by the Controller, including, but not limited to the following activities:

• Execute month-end closing process on 4-4-5 weekly schedule
• Prepare and record journal entries
• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations, including bank statement reconciliations
• Supervise work of Accountant, including review of journal entries and account reconciliations
• Prepare, review and finalize financial results, including reconciliation to HFM (consolidation system)
• Prepare annual budget schedules as assigned by the Controller
• Prepare and present monthly variance analyses with meaningful commentary <...
